Ascot over for another year...

Well Royal Ascot has been and gone now for another year. We had three runners over the week. Norse Blues, Charles Camoin and Free For All

Fanny's hampers went down a treat as always - the sausages were a firm favourite! We are back to normal now and had two winners on Monday, Zamina won well at Windsor for Neil Pickett and Shostakovich (Fred Stephens) won at Wolverhampton - good across the card double. Our older horses have been running really well.

We will have a few runners this week. Delagoa Bay runs at Lingfield on Saturday night, and we run High On A Hill at Salisbury on Sunday afternoon. We hope to have a few runners at Newbury on Thursday evening, and now our two year olds look to be shaping up - we have some exciting days ahead of us.

The sun is shining today after a few cold and rainy days, the weekend looks good weather wise, and will be made even better by a couple of winners.

Beany, my secretary, has another wedding to go to this weekend (wedding last weekend up in her native Chester) with her best friend Jo marrying Terry. Jo was Head Girl to Noel Chance for many years, and rode Looks Like Trouble every morning - Terry is farrier to many yards around here including our close neighbour Stan Moore. We would like to wish them the best of luck for many years of happily married life.
